English Summary
This Antara report documents Indonesia's diplomatic response to the alleged US-Israel attack on Iran and the death of Supreme Leader Khamenei. It is a foreign policy statement—not a new regulation, tax rule, or licensing requirement. Key compliance takeaways: (1) Indonesia reaffirms adherence to the UN Charter and international law; (2) calls for immediate cessation of hostilities and supports third-party mediation; (3) has activated evacuation protocols for Indonesian citizens in Iran; (4) no new sanctions, export controls, or operational restrictions targeting businesses have been issued. Foreign companies operating in or trading with Indonesia face no direct regulatory impact—but those engaged in Middle East-related supply chains, finance, or logistics must reassess geopolitical risk exposure, payment security, insurance coverage, and due diligence on counterparties linked to sanctioned jurisdictions.
