Jakarta (ANTARA) - Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions Minister Yandri Susanto has called for synchronized efforts from government institutions to update and strengthen the National Socioeconomic Single Data (DTSEN) to ensure accuracy in social welfare programs. "This databank is one of our key instruments to ensure accuracy in aid distribution as part of efforts to develop villages and empower communities," he said, underscoring the need for continuous updates given the highly dynamic structure of Indonesia’s population. He made the statement at an event disseminating the DTSEN in Serang District, Banten, on Thursday (March 12), according to a statement received on Friday. On that occasion, Susanto referred to Presidential Instruction No. 4 of 2025, which designates the DTSEN as the sole reference for ministries, state agencies, and regional administrations in implementing social welfare programs. He added that the central government has placed the DTSEN as a foundation for planning development and social aid initiatives.
