Pasay City, Philippines — The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), led by Director General Tereso O. Panga, successfully secured several big-ticket investments following its five-day investment promotion mission to the United States, held from January 5 to 9, 2026, on the sidelines of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026. In support of the Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines, Inc. (SEIPI), PEZA co-organized the country’s participation at CES 2026, where four Philippine exhibitors showcased products and services manufactured and delivered exclusively within PEZA-registered Special Economic Zones. These exhibitors were GMV Materials Inc., Ionics EMS, Inc., Integrated Micro-Electronics (IMI), Inc., and Macro Wiring Technologies Co., Inc. A world leader in flight control systems and critical control products, the company has operated in Baguio City since 1984 and continues to emphasize the world-class quality of its Philippine-made products, which are preferred by its international aviation manufacturing clients. The company is considering New Clark City as the site of its next expansion phase, which is projected to bring in over USD 15 million in new investments and generate 1,000 additional jobs, adding to its current workforce of more than 2,000 employees.
